Welcome to Gleichapel,establishedApril 2014, a discrete, miniature, experimental, independent art platform, out of context and rooted in the middle of the hyper-boutique-gallery-resto-land of the Upper Marais(UM) district. In the fall 2018, after a two year pause, Gleichapel returned for new programming. It is a vitrine, a “ public room” seeking to host and give attention to quality projects and collaborations with and between artists, collectors and curators. Approached also are historically relevant and seminal works of art either under the radar, or on the front lines of creation. A seminal work from an important private collection by Daniel Zeller was the first presentation in May/June 2014.
Support Gleichapel for independent programming to ensure the quality and originality of its presentations and most importantly the artist’s evolving practice and process of creation. Works are available by those artists listed under “artist” heading or during exhibitions.
Gleichapel is an economical means to begin your brand, your practice, your passion. It can be rented out for short term private showrooms, exhibitions, or office time.
