Daniel Zeller

Exhibited in May |June 2014

Category

Since the 1990s, Daniel Zeller lives and works in Brooklyn New York, where he draws a continuous meditation beyond the experience of material civilization. Daniel’s drawing depicts biomorphic, cartographic and psychic perspectives of planetary or cellular bodies. His vision from above, or within such bodies, of microscopic to universal extremes takes inspiration from scientific reference materials documenting satellite imagery, topographical maps and micrograph photography, which measures and codifies the natural world. Daniel’s art helps human vision and spirit to voyage somewhere, nowhere and everywhere all at once where there are both ongoing errors and none at all.

Daniel Zeller’s works are collected globally by private and important art institutions most notably The Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney Museum, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, The Albright-Knox Art Gallery and The National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, amongst others. His works have been featured in exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe. His recent 2018 monograph, “Daniel Zeller ” was released in 2018 by Pierogi Press, written by Art Historian and Curator, Robert Hobbs.
